The game features an open world and has very different strategies from other Pokémon runs, and features multiple storylines that offer some unique speedruns The speedrun plays very fast by making use of bombs to take out groups of enemies fast, dashes to quickly progress through stages, and special abilities to deal massive damage to bosses in little time. This is a shmup with a cute art style and pulls from Japanese mythology and folklore. The latest release of the Pocky & Rocky series, this game plays very much like a direct modern upgrade of the first SNES game of the series. Mario Maker 2 is back and better than ever! Only now am I notcing the 'current_h' and 'current_w' settings further down in the code. I tried manually changing those to "one pixel taller and wider than 720p" settings to "one pixel taller and wider than 1080p" just to see what happened, but the log file got overwritten/reset as soon as I relaunched the game. That 'display bounds' stuff seems like it could be the culprit - somehow, the game only thinks I'm on a 720p display, but I don't know how to go about fixing it. ![]() I popped open the "log" text file in the game directory, and see the following: I've tried launching the game from Steam Big Picture (my normal operating mode, since I'm trying to use a TV) as well as the regular Steam client. I've updated my video drivers, I've tried disabling either screen. Here's a screenshot of what the game looks like in "full screen" mode, with an open Chrome Incognito window in the background. Taking it to windowed mode actually makes the display larger, but then I can't get rid of the border, my taskbar, or the slight amount of pillarboxing on the left and right since the 'play area' is slightly smaller than 1080p. Whenever I launch the game and switch it to full screen (either via the options menu, or alt+enter) it shoves the game, in 720p, into the top-left corner of my screen. The laptop's display is 1080p, and is duplicated (via HDMI) to a 1080p television. Okay, I searched around and can't really find any information on this problem. ![]()
